2017年第21届马泰新三国林氏宗亲恳亲会
2017年8月13日，本会庆祝成立80周年，同时主办第21届马泰新三国海南林氏宗亲恳亲会。
马来西亚海南林氏工会主席拿督林鸿昌律师，泰国海南林氏宗祠理事长林明绪，海南省林氏总会副会长林明群及秘书长林树立，带领各自国家的林氏宗亲代表团，参加了三庆活动。
当日上午10时，在首席会务顾问林徐典教授的带领下，泰，马，中，新四国宗亲齐聚本会礼堂，进行祭祖仪式，庄严，肃穆，执事着各司其事，以恭敬心祭拜祖先，饮水思源，缅怀祖德。
除了设宴盛请接待海外的宗亲们，本会也安排他们参观了新加坡孙中山南洋纪念馆，新生水厂以及鱼尾狮，特别是新生水厂的新科技，让宗亲们留下了深刻的印象。
三庆的一系列庆祝活动包刮：一日游，四国宗亲研讨会，祭拜祖先，颁发学业奖励金，联欢晚宴，报章刊登祝贺广告和出版记念特刊。
On 13 August 2017, the Hainan Lim Clan Association (Singapore) celebrated its 80th Anniversary in concurrence with the 3-Nation 21st Reunion Convention.
President of Malaysian Hainanese Lim Clan Association Lawyer Datuk Lin Hong Chang, President of Thai Nan-Lim Sri Swasdi Foundation Mr Lin Ming Xu, Vice-President Lin Ming Qun and Honorary Secretary Lin Shu Li of Hainan Lim Clan Association of Hainan Province, each led their respective clansmen to participate in the event.
At 10am, under the leadership of our Principal advisor Professor Lim Chee Then, the Association held a solemn ceremony, with the participation of Lim Clan members from the 4 countries - Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hainan, China. The ceremony, held in the Great Hall of our Association, was solemn, honourable and well managed by the officials. All the members who participated earnestly showed their gratitude to our ancestors and pride in passing on their virtues.
In addition to treating the overseas delegates to a feast, we also specially arranged for them to visit the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, the NEWater Visitor Centre and the Merlion Park. They were most impressed with the new technology of the NEWater Visitor Centre.
The activities of Tri-celebration include: one-day tour, 4-Nation seminar, worship of ancestors, presentation of academic awards and a gala dinner, with congratulatory messages published in newspapers and the publication of a commemorative magazine.
