庆祝公会80周年大庆(2017)
众志成城，本会在2017年8月11日至13日一连从三天，成功举行“三庆”，表现突出，写下辉煌篇章。本会庆祝成立80周年，主办第21届马泰新三国海南林氏宗亲恩亲会，以及及庆祝我国52周年国庆。三庆的高潮是在8月13日夜晚，假千禧楼（巴耶里峇）举行盛大的三庆联欢宴会，诚邀人力部长林瑞生为大会主宾。晚宴筵开89席，是本会举行联欢宴会以来，规模最大的一次。当晚贵宾云集，有前任部长及本会荣誉顾问林陈惠华，新加坡林氏大宗祠宗团理事会主席林清荣，海南会馆会长潘家海，以及来自马来西亚，泰国，中国海南省的海南宗亲，在狮城欢聚，畅叙乡情，其乐融融。三庆的一系列庆祝活动包括：一日游，四国宗亲研讨会，祭拜祖先，颁发学业奖励金，联欢宴会，报章刊登祝贺广告和出版纪念特刊。
The Hainan Lim Clan Association (Singapore) celebrated its 80th Anniversary in concurrence with the 3-Nation 21st Reunion Convention and Singapore's 52nd National Day. Our Association successfully organised a "Tri-celebration" from 11- 13 Aug 2017 to mark a brilliant chapter in its history.
The highlight of the "Tri-celebration" was the grand dinner at Qian Xi restaurant on 13th August 2017 with Guest-of-Honour, Manpower Minister Lim Swee Say. Being the largest ever function organised by the Association, with a capacity of 89 tables, the gala dinner was well attended by distinguished guests such as our Honorary Adviser and a former Minister, Mrs Lim Tan Hwee Hua, President of Singapore Lim See Tai Chong Soo Clan Associations Council, Mr Lim Cheng Eng and the President of Singapore Hainan Hwee Kuan Mr Phua Kiah Mai, including some overseas delegates from the Hainan Lim Clan Associations of Malaysia, Thailand and China's Hainan, as well as many of our members' families, relatives, friends and representatives from various fraternal associations and societies.
The activities of "Tri-celebration" included one-day tour, 4-Nation seminar, worship of ancestors, presentation of academic awards and a gala dinner, with congratulatory messages published in newspapers and the publication of a commemorative magazine.
