龟咯欢乐游
本会于2017年5月20至21日组团远赴马来西亚欢度2日1夜“龟喀欢乐游”我们一行37人，尽情地享受每餐都有鱼，虾和螃蟹的美味海鲜膳食;购买当地产品和美食;打麻将，唱卡拉OK以及观光。龟咯渡假村实为一个拥有数百间坐落在沼泽海岸的高路木屋子的渔村。随意建造的房屋和小木屋，通过较小的木栈道，连接到贯穿村庄的一个狭长中央通路。唯一方便居民往来的交通工具是电动自本0行车和脚踏车。行程的亮点是乘船到一个大型的浮动养鱼场，观看饲养在海底下网墙内不同种类的鱼儿。这些浮动养鱼场是定期供应新鲜鱼类给餐馆的主要货源。随团成员包括第一副主席诗美宗长，5名理事及其亲朋好友，显示理事对主办“龟咯欢乐游”的鼓励和支持。
Our Association organised a 2D1N Kukup tour from 20/5/17 to 21/5/17. O: Our group of 37 male and female holiday-makers thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at every mealtime, tucking in the delicious seafood of fish, prawns and crabs; shopping for local products and goodies; playing mahjong games; karaoke singing and going on sight-seeing tours. The Kukup resort is actually a fishing village of several hundred houses sitting on wooden stilts in the swampy sea coast.
The randomly-built houses or chalets are linked by many smaller wooden walkways to a long and narrow concrete central pathway that runs through the village. The only mode of transport is e-bikes and bicycles by which the residents conveniently get from one place to another. The highlight was the boat trip to a large floating fish farm, where we saw various species of fish being reared in netted enclosures under the sea. These floating fish farms are the main sources of regular supply of fish to the restaurants. The tour saw the participation of our First Vice-Chairman, Clarence Tee Moui together with 5 Exco members and their families and friends. This clearly shows that our Committee members do.really support and encourage such activities organised by our association.
